Specialty support for feeding, speech, and lactation. In your home, in your routine.
Specialized in-home support for families navigating starting solids, picky eating, breastfeeding, and early speech and language. From a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist and International Board Certified Lactation Consultant.
IF THIS SOUNDS LIKE YOUR FAMILY
You’ve tried the wait-and-see approach.
Now it’s time to intervene.
The early intervention window is short, and your instincts are usually right.
The families who see the biggest changes are the ones who stopped waiting,
stopped Googling, and started working with a specialist who knew exactly what to look for. Mealtimes feel harder than they should
Starting solids isn’t going going the way you pictured. Your toddler eats the same three foods. Bottle refusal, gagging, or aversion has turned every meal into a calculation. You want a clear plan, not another search engine rabbit hole.
You’ve been told to “wait and see”
Your gut says something is off with your child’s speech, language, or feeding skills The pediatrician said to give it time. The early intervention window is short, and you would rather be wrong about a worry than late to address it.
Breastfeeding isn’t what you hoped
Latch issues. Pump questions. A tongue tie you are not sure how to read. You want a specialist who treats lactation as the clinical, problem-solving work it actually is, not a generic checklist.
MEET YOUR THERAPIST
Hi, I’m April, a Speech-language Pathologist who helps with Feeding, Language, and Lactation.
For over 10 years, I’ve worked in homes with families navigating the messiest, most stressful parts of feeding and early communication.
The IBCLC credential lets me support families from the very first feeding through solids, picky eating, and beyond. Most SLPs cant offer that continuity. It’s the difference between treating a symptom and understanding the whole picture.

A CLEAR PATH FORWARD
Three steps. That’s it.
Most families come to me after weeks of Googling, second-guessing, and being
told to wait. Here’s what working together actually looks like. 01
Book a Consultation
Tell me what’s going on. We’ll talk through what you’re seeing, what’s worked, and what hasn’t. You’ll leave with a clear sense of whether feeding therapy, lactation support, or speech and language therapy is the right next step.
02
Build Your Child’s Plan
I come to you home for an in-depth evaluation in the environment where feeding and communication actually happens. You leave with a written plan, milestones, and a clear timeline. No guessing, and no more doing it alone.
03
Therapy That Fits Your Life

SPECIALIZED PROGRAMS

WHY IN-HOME
Therapy works better
where life happens.
A clinic chair is not where your child eats dinner. A waiting room is not where breastfeeding happens. The skills we are building need to translate to your actual life, with your actual highchair, your actual lighting, your actual chaos.
Real environments, real results
We work in the same chair, with the same dishes, at the same time of day. Skills transfer the moment you learn them.
Parent coaching built in
You don’t get handed a homework sheet and sent home. We work together, in the moment, on what your child needs.
No clinic commute, no clinic stress
Sessions take place at your home or child’s daycare. For families farther than 5 miles of my base location, a small travel fee applies.
Telehealth when in-person isn’t possible
Outside our service area? We offer teletherapy across the country with the same structured program approach.
WHAT’S POSSIBLE
“Imagine the next family meal. Your child is at the table, trying something new without a fight. The pressure is gone. The plan is working. That’s what we’re building toward. "
-April Anderson, MA, CCC-SLP, IBCLC
